I went short a week ago after 48 years long, due to the fact my hair is very thin & seemed to be getting worse. Actually I got it cut 4 times last week. I settled on 2 inches top and 1 inch sides & back. It now looks great! I’ll keep it like this but may take the back down to 3.4 inch and top to 1 1/2. I do tend to go to extremes. I’m really enjoying this and am surpriesed at the different looks it can achieve. I’m embracing very short hair. I admit however, If I had been blessed with good hair genes, I would not have done it. I have my moms very thin hair. ROCKIN IT SHORT & GRAY!
Took this pic to the hair salon yesterday and had my long hair chopped (14″). Most nerve racking part was waiting for my boyfriend to come home to find the new me! We both love the cut and have decided that I’ll go shorter at the nape next time.
I expected to be nervous having my hair cut – I wasn’t I really enjoyed it!
